Taking a look back to the early 1990’s when Clare first became a licensed Real Estate Agent in Ohio, an awful lot has changed. Computers have replaced paper forms, the Internet has replaced face to face negotiations and real estate laws have increased tremendously to protect the public. Today, Clare is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Colorado and continues to bring a vibrant energy to your home buying experience. 

Originally from England, her father in the Royal Air Force, Clare traveled continuously throughout her life.  Leaving England as a young child, she lived in Cyprus for several years before moving to West Germany.  In her teenage years she moved with her family to Berlin, in what was then East Germany.  It was here that she met and married a US serviceman and came to the US in 1986.  Having lived in nearly half of the 48 contiguous United States, it is quite clear she has more than earned her wings in real estate. 

Clare was only 21 years old when she bought her first home and made the decision to become a professional in the real estate field.  The excitement and intrigue throughout the process of making an offer, getting through negotiations and closing the deal grabbed her, and she was a perfect shoe-in for this field.  Within only a few months she had earned Top Agent for sales and listings and just kept on going. She hung up her license for a few years to invest in the home renovation and flipping business, and then, in 2017 sat for her Colorado Real Estate exam and became licensed again that year.  2018 brought her several Top Producer awards and her dedication and commitment to her clients did not stop there.  In 2019 she was given the ‘Best of Zillow’ award and, as we said goodbye to 2019 she wrapped up another successful year and is poised to take another award for her hard work, knowledge, skill and production.  When anyone asks her what her secret is, she doesn’t even know.  Perhaps it is the way that, with a big smile, a vivacious personality, the charm of an English lady and her unmatched perseverance, she politely rolls up her sleeves, makes you feel like royalty, and all while working endlessly to get her clients the results they are hoping for. 

Energy and strength like Clare’s only comes from a fit and healthy lifestyle.  In addition to real estate, she has also been a health and fitness professional for over 30 years, carrying the certifications and titles of Medical Exercise Specialist, Health Coach, Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist and more.  The success she has seen with her fitness career goes hand in hand with real estate as she listens carefully to her clients, putting herself in their shoes, and really getting to know who she is working with.  Selling real estate isn’t just the joy of seeing a family in a new home, it is truly walking the journey with them, and catching important information that develops the true sense and being for who she is working with and what they are looking for.  Whether it is key words said during a conversation, simple expressions or even subtle body language, Clare is highly skilled at reading all communications. After studying Chemical Engineering in College,  Clare’s education went on to span Exercise Science, Nutritional Science and Behavioral Science; which is key in growing the rapport she has with each person she works with.  

Real Estate is not just a career for Clare, it is her way of life and passion.  While doing Real Estate you can find Clare…..yes, we said while DOING Real Estate....skiing, mountain biking, windsurfing, hiking, camping and traveling, all alongside her husband Tom.  It takes a special person to stay alongside Clare and Tom brings his charismatic personality to the team.  Also a licensed Broker in Colorado, Tom’s background is in Corporate Management and Process Improvement. With a Black Belt in Six Sigma, he has implemented multi-million-dollar strategies for GE Heathcare, Kaiser Permanente and UnitedHealth Care.  His caring and friendly demeanor is admired and he is the backbone of our operation, making sure everything works smoothly so Clare can concentrate on her number one priority – her clients!
