Meet Andrea Osmond with Compass!

Andrea Osmond is nearly a native to Colorado as her family relocated to Colorado from Chicago's suburbs when she was six years old. She was raised on a large property with horses in the Conifer and Evergreen area and was the Evergreen Rodeo Queen in her teen years.


Andrea completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Denver. She studied Communication, Marketing, Public Speaking, and Sociology. During this time, Andrea also activated a real estate license and practiced as a Realtor to fund her way through college. She began practicing real estate around the time of the recession but found her niche specializing in educating and helping first time home buyers into their new homes.


After receiving her undergraduate degree, Andrea pursued her dreams in Marketing and Advertising. She worked as the Director of Marketing for a reseller of Avyay and increased their revenue substantially throughout her employment. She later moved on to become an Underwriter for Bank of America, remodifying mortgages to clean up the 2008 real estate recession.


After several years in the corporate world, Andrea decided none of it was for her. Her passion for horses was strong, and her desire to work with them all day was all she could think about. Andrea started out investing in horses with the talent to be a performance horse but lacked the training. She would put the training in and sell the horse as a finished show horse in its specific discipline. Later, she ran a successful training program and coaching program focusing on Western Dressage competition for seven years.


Andrea accomplished her goals within running her training program and decided it was time for a change. She had dabbled with real estate over the years, but she realized how much she enjoyed it. She decided to jump back in as a Realtor, only this time, her specialty is helping people find their dream horse property or equine facility to pursue their equine dreams!


Though Andrea is pursuing her real estate career, you can still find her competing in Western Dressage, Dressage, sorting cows, trail riding and camping with her horses, and enjoying everything else Colorado has to offer.
