Lanie Carner understands what her clients need. Moving as a young adult from Ridgefield, CT, across the country to St. Louis, Mo, followed by a move to Cincinnati, OH ,heightened her understanding of what to look for in a realtor. Most importantly, she learned to find not only a hard-working professional who knew the market, but a real estate agent who was passionate and driven about understanding her personal lifestyle and needs. What was best for her… not what the realtor wanted to sell her. And as serendipity would have it, while buying and selling her own homes over the years, Lanie’s own passion for the industry was born.
It was after honing her skills in the business world as an IT account executive, followed by 15 years in business development, that Lanie paired this experience with her passion for real estate to become a successful licensed real estate broker and owner of Reel Time Realty, LLC.
Lanie had a vision in 1999 to make southwest Florida her home. The long winter months offering tropical temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s, sunshine and low humidity, lured her, like many others to the pristine beaches and exquisite golf courses. She has now called Fort Myers her home for over 26 years. Lanie’s passion for real estate continues to grow stronger with her ever-growing list of happy clients, and is rivaled only by the rewards and benefits of helping others to also make their visions a reality by finding them their SWFL dream home. She learned from her personal experience in those early years that the only way to do this, is by understanding their personal lifestyle and needs.
